IN PICTURES: Zone update a chance for region’s farmers to make sure they are prepared for season ahead

Stirlings to Coast Farmers and the Grains Research and Development Corporation teamed up on March 20 to provide farmers from across the region with an annual update. A full day of sessions was hosted by SCF at Albany’s Retravision Stadium with more than 100 in attendance. As well as being a chance for farmers and agronomists to catch up on the results of a number of trials and brush up on how global changes are affecting growers, it was also a great networking opportunity after a busy harvest. SCF chief executive Lizzie von Perger said she was pleased with how well the day went and had received positive feedback. She said it was good to see so many SCF members at the event.
