IN PICTURES: Vocal crowd support as punters pack the stands to cheer on teams in LGSHA grand finals

A strong crowd braved the chilly conditions to witness grand final day in the Lower Great Southern Hockey Association on Saturday. Spectators and players donned their club colours, with crowds cheering from the sidelines in the respective deciders. Spencer Park enjoyed a successful day, winning both the men’s and women’s A-grade premierships as well as claiming the earlier women’s B-grade grand final. Manypeaks claimed the men’s B-grade to round out a big day of grand finals that began at 9am with the Year 5-6 mixed decider. Junior grand finals started on Friday night as the LGSHA closed its 2024 with plenty of pulsating games that went to the wire. There were plenty of burgers to keep the crowd warm and lots of medal-winning celebrations out on the turf.
