IN PICTURES: Visual artists and community leaders unite for launch of the 2022 Southern Art and Craft Trail

Albany community leaders and visual artists united to celebrated the launch of the 2022 Southern Art and Craft Trail at the Albany Entertainment Centre on Saturday. The trail, organised by Art South WA, will run from September 24 to October 9, with more than 300 artists involved across 55 venues in the south of WA. On Saturday, guests enjoyed a small exhibition in the foyer of the Albany Entertainment Centre called Taste of the Art Trail. Some of the artists featured in the exhibition were in the crowd at the launch, including Art South WA chair Merry Robertson. Ms Robertson spoke at the event, along with City of Albany Mayor Dennis Wellington, Regional Arts WA’s Shandell Cummings and Albany MLA Rebecca Stephens.
