IN PICTURES: Unique antiques at the Albany Antique, Vintage and Collectors Club fair

More than 1000 people attended the Albany Antique, Vintage and Collectors Club fair at the weekend to search for their next unique find. The fair ran on Saturday and Sunday with 17 stallholders and more than 50 tables selling distinctive items at the first fair of the year. Organiser Bec Jackson said items at the fair varied from table to table. “We had tonnes of different things, anything from antique to vintage,” she said. “We had retro, and a couple of people were selling handmade unique items, but it was mostly bric-a-brac and collectables.” Ms Jackson said the turnout was lower than the November fair which attracted more than 1500 people but she put that down to the high temperatures on Saturday. She said the turn out was great and there were plans to hold the fair across the Great Southern and South West.
