IN PICTURES: Top players honoured at Great Southern Soccer Association 2022 end-of-season celebration

It was a night of silverware and celebration on Saturday as the Great Southern Soccer Association brought the 2022 season to an end in style. Players converged on the North Road pavilion where they were joined by volunteers, officials and relatives for the annual awards ceremony. League champions were presented with their medals, with Polonia and Mt Barker taking out the men’s and women’s division one titles respectively. Rovers’ Michael Draper and Mt Barker’s Libby Morris were named the fairest and best players in the top divisions. Soon after the formalities ended, a boisterous rendition of Queen’s We Are The Champions set the tone for the rest of the night.
