IN PICTURES: Thousands show up for 28th edition of Show and Shine hosted by Great Southern Street Machines

More than 1000 people showed up to the 28th edition of the Great Southern Street Machine Association’s Show and Shine on Sunday to get a sneak peek at cars spanning different models and eras. Event co-ordinator Christine Sargent said the final count on the amount of people who attended was not complete but was in the thousands. “There was a lot of people there,” she said. “We haven’t counted all the numbers, but there was a lot of people there and usually we get around two and half thousand of three thousand people.” There were 105 cars were polished up to be displayed for the annual show at the Centennial Park pavilions.
