IN PICTURES: Rock’n’roll enthusiasts from across WA gather in Albany for annual event at Albany Town Hall

The Albany Rock’n’Roll Club held its third annual Town Hall gathering on Sunday night which attracted rock enthusiasts from across the south of the State for a night of music and dancing. More than 80 rock’n’roll fanatics dressed to the nines in 50s-style outfits, with keen rock’n’rollers from Bunbury, Mandurah and Perth joining the local club for a night of fun. The weather was cold and miserable outside but the action was hot on the dance floor with musical duo Best Friends playing rocking tunes to keep the fun coming. Albany Rock’n’Roll Club’s Trina Holman said holding the event to coincide with the Albany Classic weekend added to the gathering. “Everyone thought that the whole weekend as a whole with the racing of the cars through the streets tied in really well with it,” she said. “It was a very successful evening, everyone had a great time, and a lot of them are looking forward to next year.”
