IN PICTURES: Hundreds turn out for National Premier League WA matches at Great Southern’s soccer festival

Hundreds of spectators flocked to Retravision Stadium on Saturday for two National Premier League WA soccer fixtures played in Albany for the first time since 2020. The women’s clash between Hyundai NTC and Perth RedStar was played following a match containing local Great Southern Soccer Association representatives earlier in the day. An experienced RedStar outfit cruised to a 2-0 victory over a young NTC side. The evening culminated with the men’s NPL match between Perth Glory and Sorrento Football Club. Fans were treated to a thrilling spectacle after a stunning stoppage-time strike from Glory substitute Khoa Ngo sealed a thrilling 3-2 win for Perth Glory. The two premier games were part of the week-long Festival of Football in the Great Southern.
