IN PICTURES: Green focus for Denmark Business After Hours
Denmark Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours took a green approach last month, with local businesses sipping wine and talking sustainability with their hosts at Bio Diverse Solutions.
The multi-disciplinary team were on hand to answer questions about their work in environmental management across hydrology, botany and bushfire consultancy.
Founded by Kath Kinnear in 2009, the business has offices in Albany, Denmark and Esperance caring for the environment along the south coast.
The evening was also an opportunity to celebrate the hard work of the Denmark Visitor Centre volunteers, who stepped up to keep the service ticking over in summer.
Volunteer coordinators Ali Walmsely and Karen Cussons used the opportunity to praise their team and encourage any new volunteers to pitch in.
No prior knowledge of the town or training is required to become a volunteer.
