A sausage sizzle and ice-cream van were also provided for members of Fishability to enjoy.

Fishability assists children and adults requiring support to experience the joy of fishing with the assistance of trained and experienced volunteers.

Mr May encouraged more people to volunteer with the group.

“It’s great for getting outdoors and helping people with disability,” he said. “If you would like to volunteer with Fishabilty you can find information on the Albany Fishability website.”
