IN PICTURES: Denmark SHS’s big night

It was a night of glitz and glamour at Denmark Senior High School’s ball this month. Year 11 and 12 students dressed up to dance and celebrate their final years of schooling. Year 12 student Dexter Anderson said students were treated to a night they would never forget. “The night was framed by the delicate ambience of the decoration — the eloquent bohemian chic floral arrangements, backdrop for photos and tea light candles cast a soft glow, while the disco ball brought the party to life,” he said. “The evening also catered for everyone, with no exception. “A concerted effort was made by organisers to enable Tyler Hartfield, a charismatic student with cerebral palsy, to enjoy his school ball and rock the dance floor alongside his peers — a move that warmed the hearts of all present. “The evening spoke to the thoughtfulness and inclusive mindset of the planning involved.”
