Albany Police and Community Youth Centre played host to a darts competition over the weekend, raising money for Albany Secondary Education Centre and various men’s charities. More than 100 people showed up to the event, with competitors travelling from Esperance, Perth, Bunbury, Mandurah and the Great Southern. The tournament included 28 men’s teams and 26 women’s teams. Esperance came first in division one and second in division two, while Bad Boys placed first in division two and Kenbrook were first in division three. The tournament ran over two days and raised more than $4000, with raffles donated by local businesses.
