IN PICTURES: Cloudy conditions unable to stop Disabled Surfers Association fun at Binalup/Middleton Beach

Overcast conditions on Saturday morning did little to dampen the spirits of the more than 25 participants in the Disabled Surfers Association Great Southern’s first Lets Go Surfing Day of the year. Binalup/Middleton Beach was full of smiling faces and excitement as participants took turns riding waves into shore in a supportive safe environment. Parents, guardians and carers watched on from the beach with pride as large groups of volunteers braved the chilly beach weather to help make the day of the enthusiastic participants. The morning wrapped up with a sausage sizzle for all those involved and included some presentations. The association has three more dates scheduled for this year — February 14, March 11 and April 1.
