The 2023 Southern Art & Craft Trail opened with a flurry of colour and creativity as artists welcomed the public into their exhibit areas to proudly show off their various creations. It is the 20th anniversary of the Trail this year, a milestone for the art movement that continues to encourage the community alike to visit and participate. The Trail was previously awarded $20,000 in funding from Regional Arts WA, Tourism WA, and the City of Albany. Hawthorn House and Lower Kalgan Hall are just two of the 74 locations the Trail is exhibiting at this year, both venues transformed with the imaginations of Great Southern artists. The Trail will run until October 8.
