The Great Southern Ability Festival showcased more than 50 services and businesses at Albany Entertainment Centre last Friday.

The free festival was organised by the Great Southern Ready to Go Home working group in partnership with Great Southern Disability Network.

Ahead of the festival, GSRGH working group member Pip Davey said people often underestimated the diversity of jobs available in the region.

“Give it a Go” and “Listen and Learn” sessions ran throughout the day with dozens of stalls promoting employment and volunteering opportunities.
