Albany Grassroots maintained their impressive record at the annual Netball WA NAIDOC Carnival in Perth as their under-12 side claimed silverware on Sunday.

The event is usually held in July but because of COVID-19 lockdowns, it was moved to November 7.

Albany Grassroots was represented by two teams — under-10s and under-12s — and one of them came home with a title.

The under-12 side, right, coached by Cherie Muir, went through the carnival undefeated, with a fantastic win over Narrogin in the decider.
