Homicide Squad detectives arrived in Albany today to investigate the death of a 56-year-old woman at her farm in Borden in 2008 after receiving fresh information surrounding her death.

Susi Elizabeth Johnston died after her vehicle crashed into a tree and set fire on her property on Chester Pass Rod in Borden on December 6 2008.

Homicide Squad Detective Sergeant Luke Fowler said that the new information received had resulted in a review of Mrs Johnston’s death.

“This is complex investigation that not only involves examining the crash itself, but also piecing together the whole circumstances leading to Mrs Johnston’s death,” he said.

“We are asking anyone with information that can assist in this investigation to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.”
