Property under threat in Orana

An Emergency bushfire warning has been issue for Orana and Milpara in the City of Albany.

The fire started near the intersection of Anson Road and Albany Highway.

A warning is in place for those in an area bounded by Henry Street to the north, Chester Pass Road to the east, Newbey Street to the south and Adelaide Street to the west.

Water bombers are assisting ground crews.

While a fire in King River has been downgraded from an Emergency to a Watch and Act at 2.20pm.

The fire started near the intersection of Greatrex Road and Chester Pass Road in King River.

The King River blaze is controlled but not contained.
