Help make your mark on shop’s new name
Albany Brooks Garden Shopping Centre is calling on the local community to come up with a new name for the shopping complex.
WA-based real estate developer M/Group has recently took over the site and is offering a $1000 shopping voucher to the person who comes up with the new name.
ABGSC manager Nial Twigger said the competition would provide an opportunity to create a new image for the shopping centre. “We want the new name to make sense to the community,” he said
“We believe this is important in helping us to reinvigorate the environment with a unique and local atmosphere.”
Mr Twigger said there would be several promotions, and new tenants announced soon.
“In the coming months the new name will be backed up by a series of promotions and a fresh new shopping environment,” he said
“We also expect to announce new tenants and facilities, so there will always be changes and improvements taking place.”
See page 9 for details on how to nominate a new name for ABGSC. Nominations must be made before March 29 at the shopping centre’s central mall.
