Railways midfielder Logan Stubber capped a brilliant individual season, taking home the best and fairest award at the Tigers’ awards night on September 9. Stubber was a narrow winner over fellow midfielder Jayden Scott to claim the Tigers’ top prize, finishing with an impressive 138 votes. The 2019 Kleemann medallist enjoyed a strong back-end to his season and was highly influential across the 15-game campaign. Scott was close behind on 135 votes while captain Bodhi Stubber finished on 129 votes. Inside bull Beau Ewen (97) and talented midfielder Ryan Davies (59) rounded out the top five. Joel Want was the leading goal kicker with 43 goals across the home-and-away season. Bodhi Stubber claimed the most consistent player gong as well as the best player of the finals award. Ruckman Josh Duffield was awarded the best under-21 player while Dylan Schorer took out the best team player prize. Angus Thompson and Matt Lehany were joint winners of the fairest and best award in the reserves squad while Milan Jaggi and Robert Farmer were adjudged the best players in the colts and 16s teams respectively.
