Great Southern to hit 40 degrees Saturday

Parts of the Great Southern and southern Wheatbelt are set to swelter through 40 degrees maxima on Saturday.

Narrogin, Lake Grace, Katanning and Jerramungup are all forecast to reach 40 degrees today, even Albany got the summer memo with a forecast of 30 degrees.

The heat will not last long as temperatures are set to drop down throughout the week.
