Great Southern fashionistas will still have the opportunity to strut their stuff in the Great Southern WA Fashions on the Field competition.

Ladies will be able to take part in the Statewide event from the comfort of their lounge room, as Fashions on the Field heats scheduled to take place at racecourses have been cancelled because of COVID-19.

The series of virtual regional heats starts on Monday, May 4, with the Great Southern heat set for July 13-19.

Community TAB announced each heat winner will receive $750 cash and a $500 donation to a local charity of their choice.

The final in November will consist of 12 contestants, 10 of which will be selected by Racing and Wagering WA judging panel, and the other two to be wildcat entrants chosen by public vote.

The winners of the regional heats will be shortlisted for the WA Fashions on the Field final, with the chance to win the major prize of a trip for two to London to attend the 2021 Royal Ascot races.

The winner will also receive $10,000 spending money and a $5000 Linneys voucher.

Last season’s Great Southern heat winner was Ainslie Jackson.
