Denmark scored four unanswered goals in their lively 6-3 victory against a determined Rovers Black side in the Albany Junior Soccer Association under-13 competition on Saturday.

Denmark’s Anoushka Kenyon and Freya Miller opened the scores with two classy finishes in the first half to go 2-1 up at half-time.

Rover’s Troy Franey scored a second-half equaliser to keep his side in the hunt, but Denmark piled on four goals in quick succession to quell any hope Rovers had of a comeback win.

Rovers Gold have bounced back from two gruelling defeats in the first two weeks to rattle off consecutive victories in their bid to climb the ladder.
