An Albany man accused of sexually assaulting a woman during an alleged robbery at a bakery is denying all allegations. Errol Wayne Eades, 34, appeared in Albany Magistrates Court via video link from Hakea Prison last Thursday. Mr Eades is facing charges of aggravated sexual penetration without consent, aggravated indecent assault, aggravated burglary and commit, and aggravated robbery. He has also been charged with assaulting a public officer, assaulting with an intent to resist arrest, and obstructing public officers. In court last Thursday, Mr Eades pleaded not guilty to all seven charges. Police allege Mr Eades entered an Albany bakery about 5.20am on July 10. It is alleged Mr Eades punched a woman in her 50s, and then demanded money. He allegedly sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing the scene with more than $2000 in cash. The police assault and obstruction charges arose after officers swarmed McGonnell Road in McKail on July 11 and arrested Mr Eades. During his arrest, he allegedly assaulted police before he was tasered and detained. The robbery and sexual assault charges will be listed for trial in Albany District Court on February 2 next year. Mr Eades is due back in court for the remaining three matters on February 10.
