Dustin Higgs and Jacinta Jewell stars of the show at Albany’s Attwell Park Speedway

Jacinta Jewell showed up her dirt rivals and taken out the Noel Pearson memorial for a second time in three years at Albany’s Attwell Park Speedway on Saturday night.

The experienced formula 125 driver became the first female to win the prestigious Noel Pearson Memorial back in 2019 and she did it again as the highest-point scoring Albany member.

Dustin Higgs also tore up the track as he claimed the honours in the open super sedan championship.

Jacinta Jewell had a fantastic night behind the wheel winning her opening two heats and finishing second in her last heat race.

However she regained her top form in the final, winning by more than half a second from husband and current State champion Sam Jewell, while Bill Beeck rounded out the podium.

Higgs was unstoppable across the night as he won all three of his qualifying heats before going on to lead the 35-lap main event from start to finish.

Phil Barton finished second, and Albany’s Adam Campbell filled third.

Aydan Trewern warmed up for the upcoming 2021-22 SSA Modified Sedan WA State Title in best possible fashion by claiming the modified sedans vent narrowly from Brendan Selleck and Laurie Dowsett.

Chesta Grinham took out the junior sedans final, Tim Coxall claimed the street stocks final and Cody Blight prevailed in the production sedans final.
