Driver escapes with minor injuries from rollover

The driver of a road train carrying sand has escaped with minor injuries after the truck rolled this morning south of Manypeaks.

The road trained rolled at the intersection of Palmdale Road and South Coast Highway at around sunrise.

Emergency services are currently on site and Main Roads advises drivers to approach the area with caution.

The highway is currently open in both directions with traffic management in place.
