Detectives investigate report of serious incident outside York Street Scots church on main street of Albany

Detectives are investigating a report of a serious incident outside a church on the main street of Albany. Police blocked access to the front of Scots Church on York Street this morning. The area was taped off and treated as a crime scene. The police probe relates to an incident that reportedly occurred outside the church overnight. Forensics officers placed evidence markers on the grass to the south side of the heritage-listed Uniting Church building. Their investigation was conducted in full view of the public on the main street of Albany’s CBD. More information will be related when it becomes available.
