Denmark’s iconic markets to share space and new home in 2023

The Kwoorabup Community Markets and the Denmark Arts Markets, WA’s longest continuously operating markets, are moving to a new shared location for 2023. The culturally iconic markets will now be held at Denmark Senior High School on South Coast Highway, meaning that the new space will host weekly Sunday Denmark market events. Another change to the Denmark market scene this year is that the Kwoorabup Community Markets will now hold several large family markets throughout the year. The Kwoorabup Family Markets will be similar to the Denmark Arts Markets and feature more than 50 stalls drawn from across the Great Southern, providing entertainment and a family friendly space for visitors. The first Kwoorabup Family Markets for 2023, which will include circus activities, lawn games, earth parenting and a youth music showcase, will be held at Denmark Senior High School on Sunday, January 22 from 9am to 3pm.
