A 23-year-old man has been issued a “fail to self-quarantine” infringement while allegedly drink-driving in Denmark last month. The Bow Bridge man entered WA in early April and was required to self-quarantine for 14 days. ‘But about 9pm on April 10, he was stopped by police on South Coast Highway near Kordabup. He was issued the $1000 fine for failing to comply with a direction under the Emergency Management Act. When breathalysed, he allegedly recorded a blood-alcohol level of 0.158, earning him a driving under the influence charge and a date at Albany Magistrate’s Court this month.
