Crews battle Boxwood Hill blaze

Fire crews are battling a bushfire in the southern part of Boxwood Hill, east of Albany.

An Advice has been issued for the fire which started near the intersection of South Coast Highway and Wellstead Crossing in Boxwood Hill in the Shire of Jerramungup.

Aerial support is assisting ground crews.

There is not threat to lives or homes but the fire is burning out of control with a lot of smoke in the area.
