Chester Pass Road roundabout crash delays traffic

Emergency services are on-site at the Chester Pass Road roundabout after a car accident this afternoon.

Around 3:30pm a red Ford Falcon hit a lorry on Albany Highway, heading south towards the roundabout.

Witness Rodney Light said he saw the incident unfold.

“I just saw her fly across the grass ... I didn’t see what made her leave the other side of the road,” he said.

“We were (driving) on South Coast Highway and all I saw was the red car, I said to my daughter ‘look at that car’ and then bang, too late.”

Emergency services were on site within minutes.

Traffic is heavy in the area.
