Charges laid on Walpole man for alleged Perth armed robbery
A Walpole man allegedly held up a Perth pharmacy armed with a fake homemade gun.
Police will allege Ty Nathan Robertson, 47, entered a pharmacy on Scarborough Beach Road in Innaloo about 6.30pm last Tuesday armed with a “pretend gun” made out of metal pipe and black tape.
Robertson allegedly threatened staff members before stealing cash and leaving the area.
Detectives arrested Mr Robertson in Inglewood about 2.30pm on Wednesday. He was charged with armed robbery, heroin possession, stealing and driving a vehicle with a forged, replica or false plate.
He is due to appear in Perth Magistrate’s Court on Friday via video link from Hakea Prison.
