Bowman and Coleman tie for memorial trophy

Junior sedans driver Taj Coleman and street stocks’ Paul Bowman tied for the annual Kelvin Sobey Memorial Trophy at Les Gorman Park last Saturday.
Mt Barker Speedway Club hosted the annual event, their opening meet of the season, with youngster Coleman claiming the junior final from Ben Steers and Noan Coleman. In the super sedans, Adam Campbell overcame Tony St Jack and Nathan Thiele, while Bowman claimed the street stocks from Michael Herbert and Peter Bassett.
Mike Kinnear won the production sedans from Blane Devonshire and Alan West.
The club’s next meet will be the Ken Taylor Highest Points on November 10.
