Arthur Neil Bonney, 20, wanted by Albany detectives for ongoing investigation, on bail for serious offences

Albany detectives are desperately searching for Arthur Neil Bonney, who is out on bail for serious offences. Police said the 20-year-old was believed to be in the Mt Barker area on Saturday, January 21, and could be driving a 2008 Holden Commodore sedan with registration 1CTX 827. The car has no side mirrors. Mr Bonney is facing a string of serious charges in Albany and Perth courts and was scheduled to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday. He failed to show up for his court appearance on a charge of assault occasioning bodily harm and as a result an arrest warrant was issued. Mr Bonney was listed to appear again at Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday on one charge of aggravated armed robbery and aggravated burglary from an incident in Bullsbrook on January 3, 2022. There are already multiple arrest warrants out for Mr Bonney. He is facing an assault occasioning bodily harm charge in the Perth District Court and is next due to appear on February 3. Mr Bonney is due in Albany Magistrates Court on charges of escape lawful custody and assault public officer from an incident in Mt Barker last year. A court spokesperson confirmed Mr Bonney was released on bail with a $5000 personal surety. Mr Bonney is described as about 183cm tall with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
