The Mill Art Group is running an exhibition to introduce two new artists to the group, and encourages people to come down and see the dedicated artists at work in The Gallery.

Marion Nelson is co-ordinator of the Mill Art Group and one of the 12-16 artists that exhibit at The Gallery.

Zofia Grochowska and Jo Haynes are the artists joining the group.

Nelson said both artists added another dimension to the already talented group.

“The two new artists, Zofia and Jo, are shaped by their experience and training so their works take on a dimension that reflects that background,” she said

“They add another dimension and enrich the overall exhibition.”

Each day some of the artists will be at work in the exhibition so the public can enjoy seeing the creative process, including printmaking, pastel painting, encaustic, silk painting, watercolour and acrylic painting. Visitors can also leave feedback and find out about community workshops.

The exhibition opened on June 17 at The Gallery at Denmark CRC and will run until July 19.

It is open from 11am-3pm daily.
