Andy Barker has beaten Graham Blackmore 4-0 to take the Albany Eight Ball Association’s B-grade singles title.

The event attracted 22 competitors to a showdown at the Stirling Club on July 18.

Barker came though to face Blackmore in the grand final of the knockout competition.

He romped home in the best-of-seven finale.

The tournament featured many close games, with several requiring a deciding fifth frame after contests ended 2-2.

Dallas Durrant beat Conan Buktenica in the C-grade grand final last month.

Durrant clinched the crown after winning a thrilling deciding frame in which she completed her first masters clearance – when Buktenica did not get a shot.

The next major event on the association’s calendar is the A-grade singles championship, which takes place on August 8, again at the Stirling Club.
