Albany’s Beach House at Bayside continues golden run at Australian Tourism Awards
Albany’s Beach House at Bayside has joined Australian tourism’s elite after claiming its third consecutive national tourism award on the weekend.
The boutique bed-and-breakfast hotel was again the winner of the hosted accommodation category at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards in Launceston on Friday night.
The trifecta of gold medals in the same category has led to the Beach House at Bayside earning entry into the Australian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame.
Owners Craig and Sally Pullin said they were thrilled to continue their golden run, acknowledging their team and the region when receiving the prestigious award.
“It’s fantastic recognition for the region as well,” Mrs Pullin said.
“Being in the room with operators from so many well-known tourism regions in Australia, it’s great to have Albany’s name up there as well.
“It’s fabulous recognition for our team.”
Mrs Pullin said the team would continue to focus on providing a great guest experience.
“It’s a family business, we have a great team,” she said.
“My mum and dad started this 18 years ago and this is a really great thing to bring home to them.
“We are very excited.
“It’s about the people you meet along the way. We are hands-on and people walk away with a great experience of Albany.”
