Albany musicians in Beatles tribute show to rock the stage
Great Southern audiences will have the opportunity to see two of The Beatles’ finest albums played back to back this weekend.
The Beatles Revolver and Abbey Road tribute show is coming to the Albany Port Theatre this Saturday and Sunday night.
The show will feature Rusty Lynch and Jonelle Grochowski on vocals, Paul Meyers on drums, Mardae Selepak on guitar, Mike Eastman on keys, John McDougall on bass and vocals, and Dave Rastrick on guitar, vocals and trumpet.
“Beatles fans will know that Revolver and Abbey Road are perhaps the pinnacle of Beatles perfection,” Lynch said.
“Both albums take you on an amazing, eclectic journey, filled with drama, love, sex and fun.
“It takes a powerhouse of musicians to recreate these technically beautiful albums, and we have an amazing selection of Great Southern musos to take you on the ride.”
The tribute is on at 7.30pm on Saturday and 5pm on Sunday.
