Albany Netball Association will face Geraldton Waves in the final of the 18 and under division two grand final of the Metro League competition in Perth.

The Metro League was introduced as a pilot program in 2019 to help bridge the gap between association club netball and the WA Netball League, and Albany is one of only two regional associations taking part.

Making trips to Perth every fortnight to take part in the Metro League, the committed group of Albany players have enjoyed a superb run in the qualifying games to finish second behind Geraldton.

Albany have only lost one game, against Geraldton, and go into the final having beaten Rockingham Districts 52-43 and Southern Districts 46-39.

The two sides meet in the grand final tomorrow night starting at 6.30pm at the State Netball Centre.
