Albany teams Polonia and Caledonians will compete in the third round of the FFA Cup this weekend, as they look to extend their run in the WA rounds of the national knockout competition.

Polonia automatically progressed to the third round after winning on forfeit in the first round last month and will stay at home as they prepare to host Gwelup Croatia SC on Saturday.

The match will be held at C1 Western Precinct Soccer Grounds, with kick-off set down for 3pm.

Gwelup Croatia compete in the State League Division 1 competition and will prove tough opposition for the Albany side.

Caledonians made it into the third round after an emphatic 3-0 win over fellow Albany-based club Rovers last month.

They have drawn an away fixture against fellow State League Division 1 outfit Morley Windmills.

Caledonians will travel to Perth for the clash at Wotton Reserve in Morley, with kick-off also at 3pm on Saturday.

The winners will progress to the fourth round of the cup competition where National Premier League clubs enter.
