Albany Christmas with a difference: City set to sparkle with launch of interactive Christmas Lights Trail map

It will soon be looking a lot like Christmas in Albany with the annual City of Albany Christmas Lights Trail set to launch on Saturday. Ten dazzling light installations promise to enchant the community who this year will get an early present in the form of an interactive Christmas Lights Trail map. Accessible via the City of Albany website, the map will guide light-seekers from installation to installation, making planning easier while adding a little magic to the experience. “It really adds to the festive atmosphere in our community and brings families into the heart of our city which is fantastic to see,” Mayor Greg Stocks said. “This year’s trail features Australian-themed installations as well as traditional Christmas icons and something exciting and new as well.” With festive fervour once again transforming Albany’s CBD into a WA wonderland the 2023 Christmas Light Trail is sure to delight as it spreads cheer.
