The Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry will open the doors of its new shared workspace next week, set to be a networking hub for established and emerging businesses.

The office space on Collie Street has been transformed into a modern co-working facility fit with four private office spaces and cubicles, five hot desks, a meeting room and conference room.

The workspace will offer short-term hire for businesses looking for an hourly, daily, weekly or long-term workspace.

ACCI chief executive Benita Cattalini said a decision was made to open the Collie Street space after identifying a shortage of CBD office space.

“There are varying offices and spaces available for hire in the ACCI Shared Workspace which will be able to suit a range of people or businesses for either the short or long term,” she said.

“These people can be from establishing or existing businesses, those who may be working from home or for those travelling to the region and require a space to work.”

Ms Cattalini said the space would also be used to hold regular workshops and webinars to the general public from the ACCI’s online learning hub.

The ACCI’s February 17 Business After Hours co-hosted by the Denmark Chamber of Commerce, WorklinkWA, BreakthruWA and Ideation Co will mark the official opening of the new space.
