The Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA is putting the call out for local business people to complete a quarterly survey to provide a snapshot of the region’s views on business.

The Business Confidence Survey for the March Quarter aims to collect information on the economic conditions facing businesses and their expectations for the near future.

Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry chief executive Lisa Smith said it was important that local businesses filled out the survey.

“What we’re seeking is better representation from businesses, so that we can advocate better as a whole for the region,” she said.

“We want to build the Great Southern’s business voice going forward.

“This information goes back to the key decision makers.”

She encouraged all businesses in the region to complete the quarterly surveys, not just ACCI members.

“Anybody who is in business should sign up, because everyone’s voice is valid and it’s important that we understand the issues as broadly as possible,” she said.
