Albany Anzac Day 2023: How a big day of proceedings unfolded in pictures

Thousands turned out in Albany for Anzac Day proceedings, fitting for a region with such a strong connection to the legacy of the Anzac legend.

They got up early for the dawn service on Mt Clarence, lined York Street for the march and packed Anzac Peace Park for the morning commemorative services.

Cold winds meant all those in attendance were doing everything they could to keep warm, but after years of restricted commemorations, there was nothing stopping the Albany community from coming out in droves.
