Members of community and volunteer support groups attended the Albany and Regional Volunteer Services sundowner on Thursday to welcome new manager Sarah Udecz to the team.

Over a delicious spread, ARVS chairperson Sue Dawes welcomed Ms Udecz, who joined the team in January.

ACCI chief executive Kristen Pyrz-Brown also gave a speech, championing the role volunteers play in Albany’s community and around the world.

The sundowner saw the official launch of ARVS’s re-brand with a new logo, fresh colours and a move into a bigger office space.

The organisation hopes to expand into the Great Southern, extending the help they can provide vulnerable communities.
