Perth City Twilight Wedding Expo

This showcase of some of the city’s most romantic venues is doing a twilight trail for the first time, with 14 ceremony and reception spaces styled and open for an evening walk-through. Venues including the Ritz-Carlton, the Bell Tower, WA Museum Boola Bardip, The Melbourne Hotel, The Westin, Cooee, Perth City Farm and Tiny’s will open their doors from 4-8pm on February 26, with experts on hand to talk about packages and availability. McNally’s Irish Pub

Nestled in the heart of Subiaco on Rokeby Road, a new haunt has opened its doors — McNally’s Irish Pub. Decked out with nods to the North Atlantic island throughout, it’s a cosy yet elevated dining experience with on-tap Irish tipple offerings of Guinness, Magners, Kilkenny and more. STM checked out their Sunday turkey roast and it passed with flying colours. Open daily from midday until late, with live music Thursday to Sunday. See @mcnallyssubiaco.

Ugly Bunch

It takes serious talent to make a bunch of carrots look whimsical, or create a purse out of blooms, and Ugly Bunch have it in spades. If you love a bouquet with an unexpected twist for a special occasion or special someone, florist Samantha Hollyock’s new studio in Fremantle is worth checking out.
