Mount Lawley will soon welcome a fresh collection of luxury homes to its heritage-heavy streetscape, with a new development popping up a stone’s throw from Beaufort Street.

Launched by developer Willing Property, the $39 million complex will host 24 apartments and six townhouses on a 300sqm block just a couple of lanes back from The Astor Theatre.

Though the residences will be brand new, 7 Field Street promises the distinct look of a building that has called Mount Lawley home for quite some time.

The exterior will be a redbrick ode to the unique character of the affluent suburb, from its beautifully landscaped gardens to its charming chocolate-brown cornices.

Willing Property Managing Director Tim Willing said the timeless yet modern development paid tribute to the leafy neighbourhood’s lifestyle and gave local buyers familiar options.

“With so few apartments of this quality in the area, No 7. Field Street is an ideal option for local downsizers seeking a luxury apartment option in a neighbourhood they are familiar with,” he said.

“We have designed the residences in response to demand for a new apartment or townhome in Mount Lawley that doesn’t compromise on luxury, space, gardens, quality or amenity.

“The 30 luxuriously appointed residences have been meticulously considered, planned and designed to appeal to a wide range of homeowners and lifestyle needs, and are almost one-and-a-half times bigger than other apartments on the market, with no two floor plans being the same.”

The plush properties were crafted in partnership with Hillam Architects, which looked to wrap spacious floor plans and immaculate detailing in a stunning, indulgent package.

The apartments will boast high ceilings, exquisite cornicing and skirting and timber flooring.

The end product will include high ceilings, exquisite cornicing and skirting, timber floors, wool carpet, underfloor heating and handsome kitchens with premium appliances.

Outside the home, residents will be treated to large verandahs, low-maintenance private grounds coloured an exuberant green and amenity aplenty, including a heated outdoor pool, a private gym, a sauna and a yoga studio.

A marble-lined lobby with a four-level atrium and cascading living green chandelier will only enhance the development’s opulence and sophistication, while creating a calming, serene atmosphere.

The complex will host three elevators and a resident concierge-style mailroom, while pooch owners will find No. 7 Field Street’s dedicated dog wash room particularly convenient.

Surrounded by a 694sqm private park, Mr Willing said the Mount Lawley residences were truly one of a kind.

“There is nothing like No. 7 Field Street in Mount Lawley, or currently on the Western Australian apartment market,” he said.

“Enquiries have already exceeded our expectations, with many buyers from around Perth and the eastern states eager to secure their new home

“Once complete it will seamlessly blend in with its neighbourhood and be one of the finest examples of well-considered luxury apartment living in WA.”

Pricing for two-bedroom apartments starts from $849,000, with three bedrooms from $1.15 million and four-bedroom penthouses at $2.75 million. The streetfront three-level townhomes commence at $1.65 million.

A display suite at 1/80 Walcott Street, Mount Lawley is open every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday from 11am-1pm. Construction of the development is due to begin in September.
