VM Building Director Chris Agostino does not mind working with his family, or even talking shop when they get together on weekends.

“It saves us time to be honest, as the talk around the table at family get-togethers inevitably includes an update on how our clients are feeling about the homes we are building for them,” he said.

“What counts most for us is our manner and how we deliver on being approachable because, if we get that right, everything else takes care of itself.”

Mr Agostino is joined by his brother, fellow VM Building Director Rob, and together they have almost 45 years of experience.

Along with their father Vince, they supervise work so it is the highest standard, while sister Ann-Marie is a key figure in liaising with clients and managing sales and contract administration.

“Even though we are known for our customised and multi-award winning residences, including the distinguished 2021 HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards Project Home of the Year, we continually want to surprise our clients with quality outcomes without seeking the limelight,” Mr Agostino said.

“We don’t get caught up with anything other than doing the very best we can and being as hands-on as possible.

“I like telling our home open visitors that hands-on means the salesperson they see is the same person that will eventually build their home and hand over the keys at the end of it, which is exactly what we recently did with our latest success in Mount Pleasant, and we have just begun repeating that process with a new City Beach home.”

Mr Agostino gets a great deal of satisfaction from what he and his family are able to provide to clients and is excited about the future.
