Beckham feud: Awkward moment between David, Victoria, Brooklyn and Nicola resurfaces after explosive statement
A red carpet moment featuring Brooklyn Beckham, his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, and the rest of the Beckham family has gone viral, following Brooklyn’s explosive statement about his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
The footage, shot at the UK premiere of David’s Netflix documentary Beckham in London in October 2023, shows Nicola, 31, looking tense as she poses alongside her husband and his famous family.
The uncomfortable clip resurfaced online after Brooklyn, 26, released a lengthy statement filled with allegations against his parents.
In the video, the Beckhams, David, Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, are joined by Nicola and Romeo’s then-girlfriend, model Mia Regan.
Victoria, 51, stands front and centre, while Nicola, wearing a red leather-look dress, lingers awkwardly on the end of the group photo. Brooklyn keeps his hand on his wife’s waist as the cameras flash.
In his Instagram statement, Brooklyn alleged that there were tensions in the family during his father’s 50th birthday celebrations last year.
“My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one,” he said.
Brooklyn also accused his mother of inviting “women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable.”
He went on to say, “Despite this, we still travelled to London for my dad’s birthday and were rejected for a week as we waited in our hotel room trying to plan quality time with him.
“He refused all of our attempts, unless it was at his big birthday party with a hundred guests and cameras at every corner.
“When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face.
“Later, when my family travelled to LA, they refused to see me at all.”

“My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped,” he claimed.
Brooklyn added that he no longer has any plans to repair the rift.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.
“The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.”
He also reflected on his personal growth since stepping away from the family, writing, “I grew up with overwhelming anxiety. For the first time in my life, since stepping away from my family, that anxiety has disappeared. I’ve found peace and relief.”

David and Victoria have not yet commented publicly on their son’s claims.
