This is the 45th annual concert celebrating the Reggae legend Bob Marley close to what would have been his 81st birthday. Over 12 hours and on two stages, soak up some of the best reggae in Australia. Acts include Broome’s The Mexicans, and the festival is headlined by Jah Tung. Caribbean food will be on sale.

Bleak Squad

Aussie rock royalty super group Bleak Squad take over the main stage of the Perth Festival’s club. Featuring Mick Harvey (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey), Mick Turner (Dirty Three), Adalita (Magic Dirt) and Marty Brown (Art of Fighting), this is Aussie art-noir rock at its best.

Superbowl Monday at Varsity

All nine locations of this popular burger chain are flinging open their doors for an early-morning viewing of the US Super Bowl. There are discounted Coors pints, beer merch giveaways, and a spin to win promotion. There are also hot wings eating competitions at each venue, hosted by comedians. Varsity has locations in Northbridge, Whitfords, Morley, Innaloo, Fremantle, Cannington, Nedlands, Waterford and Joonadalup. The game kicks off at 7.30am WA time.
